Pricing Plans
The Pricing page allows you to view all available MinuteMail plans, compare features, and upgrade or downgrade your subscription. This guide explains each plan tier and how to make changes.

Accessing the Pricing Page
Section titled “Accessing the Pricing Page”- Click View pricing in the navigation bar, or
- Click the profile menu → Team Current Plan badge
Plan Overview
Section titled “Plan Overview”MinuteMail offers four subscription tiers designed for different usage levels:
Free Plan
Section titled “Free Plan”$0/month
Perfect for testing and personal use:
- ✓ 100 API calls per day
- ✓ 3 active mailboxes
- ✓ 5 archived mailboxes retained
Limitations:
- No custom domains
- No team collaboration
- Limited archiving period
Best For: Individual users, testing, light personal use
Hobbyist Plan
Section titled “Hobbyist Plan”$5/month or $48/year
For regular users with moderate needs:
- ✓ 1,000 API calls per day
- ✓ 10 active mailboxes
- ✓ 20 archived mailboxes retained
Compared to Free:
- 10× more API calls
- 3× more active mailboxes
- 4× more archive slots
- Unlimited reactivation period
Best For: Developers, freelancers, small projects
Pro Plan
Section titled “Pro Plan”$15/month or $144/year (Most Popular)
Professional-grade features for power users:
- ✓ 10,000 API calls per day
- ✓ 50 active mailboxes
- ✓ 200 archived mailboxes retained
- ✓ 5 custom domains
Compared to Hobbyist:
- 10× more API calls
- 5× more active mailboxes
- 10× more archive slots
- Custom domain support
Best For: Agencies, developers, high-volume users, businesses
Team Plan
Section titled “Team Plan”$49/month or $470/year
Collaboration and resource sharing for teams:
- ✓ 50,000 API calls per day (shared)
- ✓ 200 active mailboxes (shared)
- ✓ 1,000 archived mailboxes retained
- ✓ 20 custom domains
- ✓ 5 team members included
Compared to Pro:
- 5× more API calls
- 4× more active mailboxes
- 5× more archive slots
- 4× more custom domains
- Team collaboration features
Best For: Teams, organizations, agencies with multiple users
Billing Intervals
Section titled “Billing Intervals”MinuteMail offers monthly and annual billing:
Monthly Billing
Section titled “Monthly Billing”- Flexibility - Cancel anytime
- Standard Pricing - Full monthly rate
- Billing - Automatic charge each month
Yearly Billing (20% Savings)
Section titled “Yearly Billing (20% Savings)”- Discount - Save 20% compared to monthly
- Commitment - Pay for full year upfront
- Savings Examples:
- Team: $470/year vs $588/year (save $118)
- Pro: $144/year vs $180/year (save $36)
- Hobbyist: $48/year vs $60/year (save $12)

Current Plan Badge
Section titled “Current Plan Badge”Your active plan displays a badge:
- Current Plan - Green badge on your active tier
- Downgrade - Button on higher-tier plans (changes to lower tier)
- Upgrade - Button on lower-tier plans (changes to higher tier)
Upgrading Your Plan
Section titled “Upgrading Your Plan”To upgrade your subscription, visit the MinuteMail pricing page.
To Upgrade
Section titled “To Upgrade”- Navigate to Pricing page
- Find the plan you want
- Click the Upgrade button
- Choose billing interval (Monthly or Yearly)
- Complete payment if required
- Upgrade takes effect immediately
What Happens on Upgrade
Section titled “What Happens on Upgrade”- Access - Immediately gain new plan limits
- Billing - Prorated charge for remaining billing period
- Data - All existing mailboxes and data preserved
- Quotas - Higher limits available instantly
Immediate Benefits
Section titled “Immediate Benefits”Upgrading from Free → Hobbyist:
- ✓ API calls increase from 100 → 1,000/day
- ✓ Active mailboxes from 3 → 10
- ✓ Can reactivate archived mailboxes anytime
Upgrading to Pro:
- ✓ Unlock custom domain feature
- ✓ Create up to 50 active mailboxes
- ✓ 10,000 API calls per day
Upgrading to Team:
- ✓ Invite up to 5 team members
- ✓ Shared pool of 50,000 API calls/day
- ✓ 200 active mailboxes across team
Downgrading Your Plan
Section titled “Downgrading Your Plan”To Downgrade
Section titled “To Downgrade”- Navigate to Pricing page
- Click Downgrade on your current plan
- Select the lower-tier plan
- Confirm the change
- Downgrade takes effect immediately
What Happens on Downgrade
Section titled “What Happens on Downgrade”- Access - Immediately switches to lower plan limits
- Billing - Prorated credit applied to your account for unused time
- Resource Limits - Must be under new plan limits before downgrading
- Data Loss - Excess resources must be removed before confirming downgrade
Required Actions Before Downgrade
Section titled “Required Actions Before Downgrade”If you exceed new plan limits, you must reduce usage first:
Example: Team → Pro Downgrade
- Remove team members (keep only yourself)
- Delete mailboxes until under 50 active
- Delete custom domains until under 5
- Ensure archived mailboxes under 200
Cannot downgrade until all resources are within the new plan’s limits.

Can I change my plan at any time?
Section titled “Can I change my plan at any time?”Yes, you can upgrade immediately or schedule downgrades for the end of your billing period.
What happens if I exceed my API call limit?
Section titled “What happens if I exceed my API call limit?”API calls are blocked after reaching the daily limit. The limit resets at 00:00 UTC daily. Consider upgrading for higher limits.
Do you offer annual billing discounts?
Section titled “Do you offer annual billing discounts?”Yes! Yearly billing saves 20% compared to monthly. Toggle the pricing to see annual rates.
What payment methods do you accept?
Section titled “What payment methods do you accept?”All major credit and debit cards via Stripe:
- Visa
- Mastercard
- American Express
- Discover
What happens to my custom domains if I downgrade?
Section titled “What happens to my custom domains if I downgrade?”Custom domains are only available on Pro and Team plans. If you downgrade to Free or Hobbyist:
- Domains are disabled at the end of your billing period
- Mailboxes using custom domains are deleted
- You can export data before the downgrade takes effect

- Enterprise - Requiring collaboration, shared quotas, and many custom domains
Switching Billing Intervals
Section titled “Switching Billing Intervals”To change from monthly to yearly (or vice versa):
- Cancel current subscription in Billing
- Wait for current period to end
- Resubscribe with new interval on Pricing page
Or contact support for immediate interval changes.
Refund Policy
Section titled “Refund Policy”- Monthly Plans - Prorated refunds for unused time
- Yearly Plans - Partial refunds based on unused months
- Cancellation - No refund if you cancel but continue using until period ends

Plan Change Notifications
Section titled “Plan Change Notifications”You’ll receive email notifications for:
- Plan upgrade confirmations
- Scheduled downgrade reminders (7 days before)
- Payment receipts
- Quota limit warnings
- Plan change completions
